The 'summer' part of the breeding season hasn't produced a lot of chick. Even the pet birds aren't breeding as the previous years.
But my father did even worse. He breeds song canaries (waterslager), which are generally good breeders - but not this season. He also breeds outside.
This weekend I've talked with an uncle of mine that breeds pheasants. He told me all breeders are complaining about a bad breeding season.
So I'm blaming the weather.
